Our favorite Machete for Gardeners. Made from high-grade 420 Stainless Steel, the same material used in the highest quality cutlery and scalpels, with just the right balance of chromium and steel it both holds an edge and provides a rust resistant, easy-to-clean surface.
At 18” this machete is manageable in length and superbly balanced. Rubberized D-handle hilt provides a no-slip grip and guards the knuckles against accidental strikes. Large toothed saw on the back blade edge allows for convenient cutting of brush and limbs too large to easily hack through.
Not only great for clearing dense brush [think Kudzu] but also end of season corn and sunflower stalks. Nylon sheath included.
